June 14, 2023 – Domino, TX EF-2 Tornado

I had Isaiah Schroer with me for this round of chasecation with plans to target Texarkana, TX for lower end tornado potential along the boundary. As we drive east on I-30 from Dallas, TX, storms start to develop late that morning. I knew parameters were good near our target location, all we needed was a storm to develop. Approximately 12:45-1 PM we intercepted a tornado warned supercell near Queen City, TX that produced a rain-wrapped tornado between Queen City and Domino, taking down trees/powerlines and damaging a nearby construction building along highway 59. Then we grabbed some food before heading to our hotel in Arkansas that evening.
