June 24, 2021 – Marysville, KS Supercell

Discussion: I departed home for Marysville, Kansas which was my planned target for supercell storms capable of tornadoes later that afternoon. The first storm developed around 5 PM just north of town and began to organize. A developing wall cloud was evident which you can see in the images to the left and came close to producing a tornado before it was quickly undercut by the cold front. The line of severe weather shifted to a flooding threat later that evening across southeast Nebraska. At that point, I called the chase and went to my hotel for the night.
